Sands Horizon 4000
Available July 2026, this well-maintained sprayer has approximately 4,200 engine hours and is equipped with a 30m VG boom (positive).
It features Duo React nozzle bodies and an Ag Leader InCommand system with 11 section control, delivering accurate and efficient application. Boom stability and height control are managed by the Norac UC5 system, ensuring consistent performance across varying terrain.
Additional equipment includes hydraulic fast fill, Polmac auto fill stop, mudguard extensions, and a 400 LPM twin-speed spray pump for high-capacity operation. The machine is currently set to 80” tracking and is fitted with a camera system and toolboxes for added convenience and practicality.
Tyres are 380/85R34 on the front and 600/60R30 on the rear.

Based in Catfield, Norfolk, our machines are known for quality, strength, performance and overall reliability. There is no hiding we are a family business that has been in the farming world for over 125 years, from farming in Norfolk to supplying crop protection products with a previous company, to day manufacturing crop sprayers and continuing to run our farm in Norfolk.
Sands Agricultural Machinery was founded in 1973 by Neal Sands, building the first sprayer for our contracting business. The ban on aerial spraying, and the need for a high clearance machine, led to farmers and contractors asking us to produce self-propelled sprayers for them.
