When it comes to operating a sprayer, the cab is more than just a place to sit. It is where the operator spends hour after hour, often covering thousands of acres in a season.

That is why, at Sands Sprayers, we took a different approach.

Rather than adapting a standard cab used across a range of agricultural machinery, our cab has been designed in-house specifically for Sands Sprayers. Every aspect has been considered around the job it needs to do, putting the operator, their visibility and their comfort at the heart of the design.

Designed for visibility

When spraying, visibility is everything.

The operator needs a clear view of the boom, the crop and the field around them, while also being able to see what is happening immediately around the machine.

Our cab has been designed to provide excellent all-round visibility, helping the operator maintain a clear view of the working area without unnecessary obstructions.

From positioning the cab to the shape and layout of the glass, the design has been developed specifically around the requirements of a self-propelled sprayer.

Because when you are working long days in the field, being able to see clearly and safely shouldn't be something you have to compromise on.

Comfort that works as hard as you do

Spraying can mean long hours in the cab, so operator comfort is a key part of the Sands design.

The cab provides a spacious working environment, giving the operator room to work comfortably throughout the day.

From the driving position to the controls and surrounding space, the layout has been considered with the operator in mind - creating an environment that feels practical, comfortable and easy to work from.

It isn't about adding features simply for the sake of it.

It's about making the working day better.

Easy access, inside and out

Accessibility was another important consideration during the design process.

Getting into the cab should be straightforward, while once inside, everything the operator needs should be within easy reach.

The result is a cab designed around the natural movement of the operator, helping to make everyday operation as simple and intuitive as possible.

A cab that's uniquely Sands

Perhaps the most important thing about the Sands cab is that you won't find it on another machine.

It has been designed specifically for Sands Sprayers and is exclusive to the Sands range.

That means we haven't had to compromise our design around a cab originally developed for a completely different type of agricultural machine.

Instead, we've been able to start with a blank sheet of paper and ask a simple question:

What does a sprayer operator actually need?

The answer has shaped the cab.
